JBS is a family company!

We hire many individuals as court researchers, including many that do not have experience. Over the past few months, we have found an increasing number of applicants whom accepted the position, and then never get started after giving access to our website. They also ignore all attempts from us to communicate with them to find out what happened. Below is a list of some of the common excuses we DO hear from some researchers. These excuses from newly hired researchers will be considered untrue unless proof can otherwise be submitted.

  • I accepted the position two weeks ago, but then I had a family emergency to go to. (Did you notify your main employer that you left, or did you disappear without notice on them as well?
  • My full time job changed my schedule so I am no longer available (If you have a full time job, experience has shown us that you won't have time to do research for us. This has been proven over and over again)
  • My dog fell off the side of the mountain and the family is too upset right now (Obviously the worst excuse since the dog ate my homework. Used once by an applicant in West Virginia)
  • My husband threatened to divorce me if I do this work for you (Believe it or not, we were told this from 4 separate individuals during 2008)
  • You don't pay good enough (If you don't visit the court house at least once, then you don't know what you're talking about. 9 out of 10 researchers that we hire who actually visit the courthouse still work for us and earn an average of $14-16/hr after a period of one month)
  • Your schedule is not flexible enough for me (A visit is required ONCE every two weeks. That's 10 business days that you have available to visit on your own schedule)

All excuses above are real excuses that we hear from people whom never get started after making that commitment to us.

Do you understand that if you accept/commit to the position, you need to KEEP your promise?

    Yes

    No
